Instead of a piece of fabric wrapped around a stiff plastic headband (which will quickly begin to dig in behind your ears), ours are made completely of fabric with a piece of elastic underneath.
The elastic snugs it to your head while the ties allow for adjustment in fit to keep slipping to a minimum.
